Water Fowl Hunting

Water Fowl Hunting (Duck, Geese & Swan) is seasonal with the season opening being the first weekend in May and goes for 4-8 weeks depending on the region and the year.

If you’d like to go Duck Shooting (a very popular event here in New Zealand) there will be an extra cost of around $100 NZD for the license required.

Pheasant and Quail can also be shot with a “Duckshooting license”.

Although they are not in very big numbers in the areas we hunt our Big Game, we can go to any area with better hunting for them if you would like to target them.
